Full of vivid imagery and complex ideas, the great fresco cycles of the Italian Renaissance tell wonderful stories that resound with every emotion humans feel. Stay warm and safe as we virtually tour over 200 years of magnificent paintings from Giotto's ground-breaking images in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, through the Brancacci and Tornabuoni Chapels in Florence, and, of course, the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.
A ZOOM link will be sent to you the week before the class starts. Hard copies of the lecture will be available for pick up in the Workshop's office, or can be mailed.
