AM: Artists love printmaking because you can make multiples of one singular plate. Learn how to make multiple copies of your original art and what to do with all those copies. One idea is to make elaborate patterns. We will make our own collagraph (collage) plates and styrofoam plates and print them to create colorful designs.
PM: Using tricks that cartoonists use, we will create our own superheroes or other characters. We'll use drawing and painting to tell our superheroes' origin story, special characteristics, and cool traits. We will share our cartoons and comics with our friends and within our sketchbooks.
