8 SATURDAYS
JANUARY 13 – MARCH 9 (No class February 24) | 11 am – 12:30 pm
(Ages 8-11) This class will give children the opportunity to make exciting, unique works of art while they learn about legends, folklore and story-telling traditions from around the world. Projects will include a glow-in-the-dark constellation painting, a collaged mosaic of a creature from Greek mythology, a pop-up ghost from Japanese folk tales and much more. The class will also enjoy several visits to see art from the distant past in the mag collection.
Youth classes at the Creative Workshop are designed as "drop-off" programs (with youth attending independently) unless otherwise noted. If your child needs extra assistance or a supporting adult to attend class with them, we are happy to accommodate that! Please make a note in the registration or call our main office at (585) 276-8959 so we can ensure we share that with our Instructors. Thank you!
