JANUARY 18 – MARCH 14 (No class February 22) | 1:30 – 4:30 pm

Drawing from live models or the MAG collection, this class will focus on superb figure work throughout history (roughly between 1768 and 1930). Each class features a timeless principle fed out in a layered series and will l feature an art history book about an individual artist known for their superb figure work. The broad basis of the class places great emphasis on the importance of the collection and its place in art history primarily as a school for the figurative painter.  This class is designed for the beginner but timeless principles are covered and will satisfy the advanced student.
