JANUARY 14-MARCH 11 (no class Feb. 25)
(Ages 10-12) We will be exploring different ways of working with yarn and many colors. In the first class students will paint yarns in colors of their choice and then weave the result on a small loom into a scarf of their own. Other projects include a woven band for a bookmark, a felted yarn picture, a yarn sculpture, some tie dyeing, braiding for an anklet or bracelet and a cloth collage. Since this will be a messy class, students should wear old clothes or bring a smock!
