This course introduces new students to the basics of the potter’s wheel—how to wedge clay, center, throw cylinders, trim and glaze.  Continuing students will build skills by learning how to make bowls and plates. Your teacher will demonstrate and give you hands-on help when needed. Students benefit from repeating this course. Please bring an old kitchen size towel you don't mind getting dirty with you.
