AUGUST 1-5

(AGES 6-8) [Taught by Amy J. Fisher & Sara Blake]

AM: Exploring the art of play will be a festivity of building art skills in a variety of mediums! Make and play your own art games. We will imagine new worlds as we take inspiration from the gallery’s collection. Together we will invent concepts for adventure in the studio as we construct our own games that can be enjoyed with friends and family.

PM: Artists frequently use animals as subject matter in their art to convey their own narratives. Through time animals have appeared in paintings, sculptures, and prints. Using various mediums such as paint, pastels and paper mache we will try fun techniques to create fascinating animals.
