This event is no longer on sale.
FOUR WEDNESDAYS
FEBRUARY 8 - MARCH 8 (no class Feb. 22)
Using the exhibition In Praise of Trees: Woodcuts by Naoko Matsubara as a starting point, this class will examine the subject matter of trees as a point of inspiration for art. Spanning the globe and a timeline of four centuries of art and techniques, we will take a close look at how artists approached their natural form, organic characteristics, and cultural symbolism.
