For centuries, struggles for power and cultural dominance have been expressed through attacks on historical heritage objects and art. These practices have included the banning, destruction and desecration of religious and political imagery. In conjunction with the exhibition Striking Power: Iconoclasm in Ancient Egypt, join us in a journey from ancient to present as we examine some of history’s most Iconoclastic moments.
