Pastels are a vibrant, immediate dry medium that artists have used for centuries. In this three-hour workshop, you will learn pastel application techniques, experiment with different types of paste paper, and have fun exploring this fantastic medium. Wear your play clothes; you will get messy!

Art Starts are designed as fun, one-time workshops featuring mini, introductory lessons in art making with the guided help of one of our teaching artists. All materials, encouragement and inspiration are included.
