About the Camp

Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1
Ages: 7-9

We have a little story to tell you. It is about a camper who explored the world of storytelling and bookmaking at the MAG. Don’t tell anyone, but that camper is you!

During the fourth week of summer camp, we will explore all the gallery has to offer in the way of stories, myths, and legends. Then, we will learn to create our characters and tell our stories. Do you have a story to tell? Campers will explore various art media while learning about stories and myths worldwide. Then, they will get the chance to be authors and illustrators, taking up both pen and palette to create their characters and stories. For the clay portion of their day, campers will explore hand-building techniques and make sculptures and useful objects out of clay and glaze.

Camps & Drop-Off Times

Instruction begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM, but you may drop off your child as early as 8:30 AM and pick up as late as 5 PM. There is no extra charge for this supervised before-care and after-care.

After registering, you will receive an email with your receipt, confirming your registration for this camp.

Online registration ends 48 hours before the camp starts. Camps with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting of the camp. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative camp or to refund your registration fee. View MAG’s refund policy here.
