About the Program

Join fellow area educators for a morning at MAG! Explore the exhibition Frontiers of Impressionism: Paintings from the Worcester Art Museum and learn about “the radical artistic movement that changed the course of art history.” We will use Artful Thinking Routines to discuss the lasting changes these progressive artists brought to the art world through the use of textured, loose brushwork to express their individual perceptions of reality and the breaking of the hierarchy of themes. This workshop will also include a creative activity guided by a Teaching Artist.

Participants will earn 2.5 CTLE credit hours upon completion of this workshop and light refreshments will be provided. (Same workshop will be offered on Wednesday, January 14.)
