About the Camp

Ages: 5-6

Are you ready to go on a safari at MAG? For the fifth week of camp, we will search the depths of the gallery for camels, birds, elephants, otters, and more! Our artworks will be inspired by amazing animal adaptations - from wings and gills to stripes and fur. Will you erase a tiger’s stripes or give a penguin polka-dots?

Campers will hone their drawing skills by bringing their favorite animals to life on the page. Campers will also investigate ideas of adaptation, habitat, and hybrids while working in various art media.

Camps & Drop-Off Times

Instruction begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM, but you may drop off your child as early as 8:30 AM and pick up as late as 5 PM. There is no extra charge for this supervised before-care and after-care.

After registering, you will receive an email with your receipt, confirming your registration for this camp.

Online registration ends 48 hours before the camp starts. Camps with inadequate enrollment are cancelled one week before the first meeting of the camp. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative camp or to refund your registration fee. View MAG’s refund policy here.
