Ages: 18+
Color can create a deep emotional response, and how colors are placed together in an artwork can lessen or exacerbate that response. In this workshop, we will learn about Joseph Albers's "Interactions of Color" from MAG, visit the Alma Thomas exhibition, and then take our new skills back to the studio to create artwork using four different color palettes.
Art Starts are designed as fun, one-time workshops featuring mini, introductory lessons in art making with the guided help of one of our teaching artists. All materials, encouragement and inspiration are included.
Materials Needed
All materials provided for Art Start classes.
