About the Art Start Workshop

Remember Shrinky Dink? Let’s take this fun material to new levels! Make a three-dimensional pendant, earrings, or an original key chain using new techniques from a childhood favorite. Using chalk, colored pencils, simple forms, and findings to create your heart’s desire. Perfect for summer wear! Kerina Mangiaracina, a talented artist hailing from Rochester, popular for her expertise in jewelry making, will instruct you in the fascinating method of alternative materials. All necessary supplies will be readily available, ensuring a seamless experience. Prepare to astonish your family and friends with your new skills!

Art Starts are fun, one-time, drop-in workshops for adults that feature mini, introductory lessons in art making with the guided help of one of our teaching artists. All materials, encouragement, and inspiration are included.
